🍽️ What Is The Happy Plate Club?

The Happy Plate Club is a pediatric picky eating program in Metairie that helps children explore new foods at their own pace using a play-based, sensory-rich approach. Led by pediatric occupational therapists, the program follows the SOS Approach to Feeding, teaching kids the 32 steps involved in eating in a supportive, social setting.

This pediatric picky eating program in Metairie uses interactive food play to build comfort with various tastes, textures, and smells. Children learn essential feeding skills through structured activities, peer modeling, and positive reinforcement.

🧩 Who Can Join?

  • For current or previous Kim4Kids patients only

  • New participants must complete an OT evaluation prior to enrollment

  • Small group format ensures individualized support

Date and Time

Age: 4-6 years old
Date: Mondays and Wednesdays
Time: 3:00-4:00pm
Monday, June 9 – Wednesday, July 23, 2025
(No classes week of June 30th)

 

Age: 7 and up years old
Date: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 3:30-4:30pm
Tuesday, June 10 – Thursday, July 24
(No classes week of June 30th)

Cost

  • $750 for 12 sessions
No prorating.

Cancellation policy: Payment is non-refundable less than 30 days prior to class start date.
